Respected Colleagues,

Due to the action of 905 members attending the GEA Rally this afternoon -- rather than being certified to fact-finding -- another mediation session has been set for June 7, 2010.

The district saw your umbrellas -- the symbol that you took seriously past promises by the district to use the reserves on the rainy day.  Your voices were heard as you shouted, "Spend the reserves," and "It is raining, its pouring and class size is soaring!" (See your pictures posted to the right.)

Your POWERFUL COLLECTIVE ACTION continues to place pressure on the district to reach a fair settlement.
